As a registered service company, Ameri Dental Technology performs all preventative maintenance required by the State of Maryland, including:
- Preventative maintenance on radiation machines
- Verification of manufacturer maintenance compliance
- X-ray equipment inspection and testing
- Review of required documentation and records
- Darkroom inspection (where applicable)
- Radiation safety checks
- Training for dentists and staff on radiation laws and regulations

Machine Maintenance
- A registrant shall maintain each radiation machine in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance specifications.
- If documentation regarding the recommended maintenance schedule is not available from the manufacturer, maintenance shall be performed at intervals not to exceed 12 months.
- A registrant shall maintain documentation that the machine manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule has been met. Documentation must include a detailed service report containing:
- Registrant name and facility registration number
- Service date and service provider
- Department-assigned machine number (if present)
- Tube serial number
- Room name or room number where the machine is located
- Each registrant shall provide written documentation to the Agency sufficient to demonstrate that required maintenance has been performed. Documentation must be submitted within 30 days following completion of service.
